The University School of Social Sciences, established in 2014, was built to respond to the challenging needs of the society. The school is committed to high-quality graduate and post-graduate instruction across the social sciences. Further, it provides a spectrum of choices for learners ranging from traditional courses to the modern information age relevant courses. Our mission is to inspire & transfer lives of our students by providing them innovative learning experience that prepares them to thrive in dynamic & competitive world. The university School of Social Sciences shall groom individuals for the day to day challenges of life by developing their intrinsic human abilities, provide a skilled human resource for the job market, who would contribute to the advancement of knowledge in larger prospectus

As a pioneer institution, RBU established USSS with the vision to serve the society and to impart socially relevant quality education in an ever- changing globalized world. Our well-qualified and dedicated faculty members under the able guidance of visionary leadership are committed to ensure that each student achieves his or her full potential.
We instill in our students a passion for learning and acquiring knowledge that they will need to become successful in their careers and to make a positive contribution to the society. Therefore, at our campus there is an amalgam of academics and extra-curricular activities like NSS and Red Cross initiatives. We provide various personality development programs to the students that not only sharpen their intellect but also inculcate in them moral and ethical values thus moulding them into dutiful sons and daughters and responsible citizens of the country at large.

The institute has the following general and method laboratories available for the student use:
- Computer Laboratory.
- Language Laboratory.
- Psychology Resource Centre.
- Information and Communication Technology Resource Centre.
- Science and Home Science Resource Centre.
- Mathematics Resource Centre.
- Social Science Resource Centre.
- Art and Craft Resource Centre.
Each general and method laboratory has a teacher in-charge who ensures maintenance of the equipments and other facilities.
- Computer laboratory has a full time computer instructor.
- Centralized facilities of maintenance of equipment by the trained technician /personnel are available.
- The enhancement and up gradation of the equipment and laboratory is done regularly to keep abreast with latest equipment/facilities for various laboratories by the institute and management.
