The School of Medical and Allied Sciences has been established with an objective of providing adequate resources in the burgeoning area of biomedical sciences and better healthcare services in the country. The medical and allied health professionals serve as a strong support system and work hand in hand with the mainstream medical and health personnel catering to patient needs in treating disease and promoting health in the society.

The School of Medical and Allied Health Sciences understands this mission and therefore offers a dynamic research-intensive environment encouraging excellence in interdisciplinary research and teaching, concurrently working towards student development to deliver their best. A student can expect dynamic as well as interactive environment by undergoing structure of our academic programs designed keeping current and best clinical practice as a base. As earning is half done unless adequate support, with this perspective every student in the program is looked after by friendly and supportive faculty, who are always accessible right from inception of the program. In addition, we offer strong cohort experience, learning programs fortified by strong scientific research and dedicated teachers abundant with enthusiasm for teaching. Learning is also reinforced by extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, providing comprehensive learning environment, individual development and getting ready for career in the healthcare industry.

The course structure is designed by eminent leaders in their respective fields and keeping future requirements and trends in consideration. This assists graduates in meeting the expectations and keeping abreast with the latest technological developments in the field. The School of Medical and Allied Health Sciences aims to be a leader in the field by promoting discovery, development for welfare of the society. In this regard, the school offers numerous programs under its umbrella encompassing and Bachelor of Science courses in medical and allied field.

Dean (USMAS)

Movement is very essential for human body and it holds utmost importance for the survival, growth and development. Physiotherapy is the branch of Medical and Allied Science which deals with the study of movement and of the processes that can be put in place in order to facilitate and/or restore one’s ability to move.
The University School of Medial & Allied Sciences has been upholding various capacities and running different courses like Bachelors in Physiotherapy, B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology, and B.Sc. Medical Microbiology. The Medical Lab Testing and Microbial study help in diagnosis and Physiotherapy helps to treat the diagnosed condition as well as the Rehabilitation.
Physiotherapy helps to add “Life to the Years”. Our highly professional team offers an open platform to our students to learn, work, and excel in the field. We also encourage and support our students for research practices.
With education, we provide a healthy learning atmosphere. Our students not only learn about the profession but we also emphasize on personality development, identify the quality and help the student to sharpen and shine that quality.
We are also working at the community level where the problems are identified, defined, addressed, and the remedies are provided to improve the quality of life for the wellbeing of the society. We have organized many camps and the awareness programs in the tricity. Our team is actively working in this area to have the above goals materialized into tangible results.
As the Dean ofUSMAS I feel privileged to announce that our students are increasing as our team is working very efficiently. Our students are preparing well to serve the society. We have successfully organized many international level conferences where medical professionals from different disciplines exchanged their knowledge with our students and faculty.

    • The student has obtained at the end of every semester SGPA of at least 4.5 for Diploma & under graduate courses and SGPA 5.0 for post graduate courses. (For M.Pharm, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Pharm (Practice) Courses, SGPA will be 5.0).
    • The student has obtained a minimum CGPA of 5.00 for Diploma & under graduate courses and CGPA 5.5 for post graduate courses.
    • The student has not taken more time than specified for completion of the course.
    • Student has satisfied all the rules of evaluation.
    • No case of indiscipline or unfair means is pending against the student.
    • No dues are pending against the student.
