Admission Process
Before beginning to apply for admission, please read all the instructions mentioned in the university booklet (pdf copy) published by the university from time to time.
The applicant can apply for admission by following these basic steps:
- STEP 1
Choose your interested program at Rayat Bahra University.
- STEP 2
Check your all documents required for admission process and share the scan copies of your education transcripts over
email international@rayatbahrauniversity.edu.in for eligibility assessment. (Get your academics documents translated, if not in English Language).

- STEP 3
Application form will be opened, once eligibility assessment is done
- STEP 4
Once you receive the offer letter from Rayat Bahra University, pay your registration fee, Academic fee and 1 year Hostel fee to Rayat Bahra University via online bank transfer.
- STEP 5
After receiving the fee, Rayat Bahra Unversity will issue you the acceptance letter. This acceptance letter will be for visa application at Indian Embassy in your home country.
- STEP 6
Schedule for your visa appointment. (Applying India student visa)
- STEP 7
Once you obtain the study visa, please share one copy of the same with International Department, Rayat Bahra University via email at international@rayatbahrauniversity.edu.in
- STEP 8
Plan your travel to India. The nearest airport to Rayat Bahra University is Chandigarh International airport, Chandigarh and IGI airport, Delhi.
- STEP 9
For complimentary pickup, share your air ticket (Flight details) and travel dates with International Department, RBU.
- STEP 10
With all your original academic documents you need to report to International admission cell for your admission process.

Important Note
- Student needs to ensure that the entire form is completely filled and supporting documents are attached.
- If mark sheet/ transcript is not in English, you need to get it translated into English and this translated copy must be attached along with native language certificate.
- If results have not yet been declared, then please mentioned as ‘result awaited’ in the result status column
- All international students should satisfy the conditions laid down by the university from time to time, otherwise, it would result in the cancellation of admission.
- It generally takes 3-6 weeks to obtain Indian Visa. Therefore, it is advisable that a considerable amount of time should be allotted and consult the high commission/Indian embassy in the concerned country

English Language Requirement
- All International students must have passed English as a primary subject in his or her ‘A’ level/Sr. Sec. Level/12th Grade.
